We'll help you stay organized and keep the process steady from start to finish so you can focus on the experience and actually enjoy your own event.
Megan Schwartz, Lead Event Planner & Strategist
Hi, I'm Megan.
I'm the person behind M Creative Events, and if there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I love a good challenge. Every event is its own puzzle. Different people, different priorities, different budgets, different goals. That's what I love about this work. There isn't a formula, and there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach.
Every event also has its own purpose. Sometimes that's raising money for an important cause. Sometimes it's celebrating a major milestone. Sometimes it's bringing colleagues together to learn, connect, or simply enjoy each other's company. My role is to understand what matters most to you and make sure the planning reflects it.
Before starting M Creative Events, I spent more than 16 years planning conferences and meetings around the world, from Asia to Latin America to the Caribbean, managing complex events with attendees traveling from across the globe. Those experiences taught me how to stay organized, adapt quickly, build strong relationships, and keep even the most complicated events moving forward. Today, I bring that same approach to every client I work with, whether it's a corporate conference, nonprofit fundraiser, wedding, or milestone celebration here in Connecticut or somewhere much farther away.

When you work with M Creative Events, you'll work directly with me from our first conversation through your event day. I'll help you navigate decisions, keep the process organized, communicate honestly, and think ahead so you don't have to. At the end of the day, I want you to feel confident that everything is under control…and free to enjoy the event you've worked so hard to create.
A few more things about me, in no particular order:
- Personality quizzes classify me as an interpersonal analytic, which probably explains why I love a good spreadsheet, as much as I love bringing people together.
- I love exploring new places and finding off the beaten path experiences.
- There's a very good chance I have a bag of pretzels in my purse.
- My cat occasionally supervises my work from my desk.
- I'm just as happy coordinating a 25-person board retreat as I am a 500-person conference and I enjoy helping clients feel confident throughout the process. There's a lot to think about when planning an event, but you don't have to think about it all by yourself!
